Being Senior Citizens the prospect of selling a home for the very first time was, we admit, daunting the choice of Real Estate Agents being foremost of our worries. Fortunately, a number of our friends and contacts suggested, YPA and in particular the name of Bassam Tofaili at YPA. Thus we made the decision to give them a try.
Our greeting on entering the premises of YPA was very warm and friendly, giving us confidence that our choice was right. Although Bassam was not in the office at that time, we left our phone details and within an hour, Bassam was on the phone to us and arranged to meet us in our home on Friday (two days later). This set the tone for our dealings with YPA and Bassam.
After receiving numerous calls from Bassam confirming our meeting and advising us when his other meetings became extended we at last met what was to prove to be a charming but veritable ball of boundless energy and efficiency, eager to get things on the move. During the Inspection Bassam explained his penchant for attention to detail and advised us how best to show off the benefits and qualities of our home in preparation for a photographic session. After having the proposed marketing strategy explained to us we were more than happy to sign a contract with him to sell our home of 17 years.
In less than a week from entering YPA we had photographs, met the team and the marketing campaign was underway, and as a bonus, Jennifer, Our Customer service officer rang to arrange a meeting and presented us with a beautiful floral arrangement (most unexpected!).
One day after the photos hit the internet we were fielding calls to arrange viewings in all there were 7. These took place on Friday and Saturday (including a couple of second views) and resulted in 3 offers! By Monday, Bassam was phoning us to say It's Sold, come and see the offers and sign a contract. In 5 days, Bassam had sold our home at a price above our expectations. How could anyone ever expect a better result?
To say that we were impressed with the efficiency, friendliness, warmth and sincerity of the YPA team, and especially Bassam, would have to be the greatest understatement of all time. Thank you Bassam and the Team at YPA, for such a brilliant and unexpected result. It must be obvious that when next we are asked Do you know of a good Real Estate Agent, we want to sell our home? that our resounding answer will be YPA (and if you can get him, ask for Bassam).
